Sunningdale School Library starts a new chapter with donation
We recently helped towards funding the transformation of the library at Holy Trinity CE Primary School in Sunningdale, Berkshire to create a more engaging space for students to learn, read and develop their skills.
The refurbishment of the library supports the school’s mission to inspire a love of reading and to improve its study environments. The new library has been kitted out with fresh bookcases, a two-storey treehouse, tables and chairs and a mural which helps provide a calming atmosphere. The school raised funds for the refurbishment through donations from parents of pupils, fundraising efforts and through donations from external organisations, like Abri Homes.
The donation is part of our commitment to supporting the local community in Sunningdale, with our collection of Shared Ownership apartments at Sunningdale Park, located just a two minute drive away from the school.
Mrs Griffith, Headteacher at Holy Trinity CE Primary School commented: “With our refreshed library, we wanted to design a space which would spark a love of reading and provide pupils with an engaging environment to build literacy skills. This transformation was made possible through the generosity of supporters like Abri Homes and the parents of our pupils, which have truly brought the space back to life and will have a lasting impact on their learning journey.”
Mike Luthra, Head of Sales (London and South East) at Abri Homes said: “It’s inspiring to see the school’s dedication to creating spaces that encourage imagination outside of the classroom. We’re pleased to support Holy Trinity CE Primary School, particularly given our close ties to the area with our Sunningdale Park development nearby. We hope all the pupils enjoy their new space and that the library is appreciated for years to come.”
