The Old Brewery at Upfest

Date Posted

Upfest was recently back in Bristol, and it brought a splash of color and creativity to the city. This year, to celebrate the return of the street art festival, we teamed up with local artist Sophie Rae to create a stunning mural at The Old Brewery, our Shared Ownership development on North Street.

Now, let's talk about this mural! Sophie Rae, a true gem in Bristol's local art scene, drew inspiration from the hop plant, a nod to the heritage of The Old Brewery, which used to be the Ashton Gate Brewery. Sophie took those historical vibes and added her own contemporary twist, blending abstract shapes and fun motifs to create a mural that's both vibrant and playful. She says, "I love participating in this creative and supportive community of artists in Bristol."

So when you're next visiting the city, be sure to check out Sophie's creation. And if you're in the market for a new home, there's more good news! Our new one, two, or three bedroom homes at The Old Brewery are now selling.

Let's celebrate art, history, and new beginnings together. See you around the city!
